Instructor courses -

Level 1
3 & 4 weeks long and consists of 2 to 3 weeks training respectively plus the 3 day exam.
This entry level instructor course will teach you how to teach a beginner how to get around and develop quickly. There’s lots of improvement done here so expect to have your skiing & riding improve a huge amount in the 4 weeks.

Level 2
6 weeks long and consisting of 5 weeks training plus the 5 day exam.
This intermediate level instructor course will teach you how to teach an intermediate skier or snowboarder how to move from green runs onto Blues and Red/Single Black runs by developing their technique. There’s lots of ski improvement and demonstration skills covered on this course so expect to have your skiing and snowboarding improve a huge amount.

Level 3 Ski
6 weeks long and consisting of 5 weeks training plus the 5 day course and 2 day exam.
This Advanced level instructor course is demanding and a big step up from the level 2. It concentrates on advanced skiing and teaching methods and requires commitment to complete successfully. At this level we will teach you how to teach advanced skiers how to develop an all mountain approach in a variety of snow conditions and on all terrain. There’s lots of technical ski improvement and demonstration skills covered on this course so expect to have your skiing improve but by far the teaching and training skills you’ll develop will allow you to stand well above the crowd.

Freeride Holidays/Tours & Taster Weeks
We run 2 week Freeride ski courses in March every season. These are usually posted on our website in September and have limited availability.
As the locations and dates change each year to provide the very best skiing and prices please keep an eye out for details.

What our customers say...
  • I’m defiantly coming back here if it’s the last thing I do.

    Corey (Level 2 snowboard 2010)
  • Panorama, what a great mountain. I didn't know anything about Panorama when I looked into doing a course but I'm so glad I chose it over any other. It's amazing how understated it is, the mountain has great extreme terrain, which was too much for me at first, but also great cruiser runs and intermediate bowls. Thanks for showing me this great resort and I'll be back.

    Jerry (Level 2 ski 2010)
  • The training is excellent. Jon was great fun, if a little hairy.

Dickie (Level 1 ski and snowboard 2008)
  • Panorama's wide, long runs provide some challenging skiing but also a great place to practice technique and hone your skills on a well organized ski hill. Thanks

    Gemma B. (Improver Camp 2009)
  • So I am in Chile with Fran working as a full time instructor. Got a house up at the hill European style where I can ski to work............sweet hey! The best thing about my job is trying to teach in another language. I prefer Spanglish with a mix of Devonian and Canadian. No wonder I get funny looks all the time.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Tom (Level 2 ski and 1 snowboard 2008, Level 3 ski
  • After reading the reports I had to post to let people know just how good a resort this is. I was in Pano (Panorama Mountain Village) for 9 weeks this year; we had new snow every week at least. I skied every day both working with ski school (which is one of the most professional ski schools I have come across) and training with Snow Challenge instructor training course. With so much snow I wa...
